Mathews Acrylic Polyurethane (MAP) is the preferred paint used by Route One Wholesale Signs.

Finish colors are available in satin or gloss and come as an ultra-low VOC option. In combination with primers for steel and non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, it makes for a great product at a decent cost. Accurate color matching, ease of use, and longevity are all traits we find in their products.

Color formulas are acquired via their online service. Hundreds of manufactures with thousands of color matches from well-known companies such as Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams, Pantone, 3M, Avery, Oracal and many others are available. Their extensive current and growing formula library allows us to match most any of our customers color requests with certainty. Product specific reducers and catalysts harden the paint. If needed, to shorten cure times, heat can be added to ensure your project can be moved through the painting process quickly to final assembly.

For the safety of our employees in the painting process, we incorporate a fully filtered fresh air breathing system and body coverings to protect against VOCs when in use. (VOC – Volatile organic compounds are organic chemicals that have a high vapor pressure at ordinary room temperature.)
